The Lives before, during and after Jesus/Joshua. According
to our teachings:
APOLLONIUS was born [Legends of the wonderful happenings
at his birth were in circulation, and are of the same nature as all such birth-legends of great people.] at Tyana, a city
in the south of Cappadocia, somewhere in the early years of the Christian era. APOLLONIUS OF TYANA. GRS Mead. 1901.
..as this essay shows, Apollonius himself spent the
major part of his life in trying to reform the institutions and cults of the Roman Empire. APOLLONIUS OF TYANA. GRS Mead.
1901.
Appollonius of Tyana - (Gr.). A wonderful philosopher
born in Cappadocia about the beginning of the first century;... ...At the end of his long and wonderful life he opened an
esoteric school at Ephesus, and died aged almost one hundred years. (TG) Theosophical Glossary. Agni Yoga Gloss.
The Master Jesus...He is well known in the Bible history,
coming before us first as Joshua the Son of Nun, appearing again in the time of Ezra as Jeshua, taking the third initiation,
as related in the book of Zechariah, as Joshua, and in the Gospel story he is known for two great sacrifices, that in which
he handed over his body for the use of the Christ, and for the great renunciation which is the characteristic of the fourth
initiation. As Appollonius of Tyana, he took the fifth initiation and became a Master of the Wisdom. IHS 57.
Chohan Jesus: formerly Apollonius of Tyana (1st century),
and also Ramanujacharya (11th century). The Master Jesus, who became an adept in His incarnation as Apollonius of Tyana, and
was afterwards the great South Indian religious reformer, Shri Ramanujacharya, rules the Sixth Ray, that of bhakti or devotion.
This is the Ray of the devotional saints and mystics of every religion, and the Chohan Jesus has charge of such people, under
whatever form they may worship the Divine Being. Nineteen hundred years ago Apollonius of Tyana was sent out by the Brotherhood
upon a mission, one feature of which was that he was to found, in various countries, certain magnetic centres. Objects of
the nature of talismans were given to him, which he was to bury at these chosen spots, in order that the forces which they
radiated might prepare these places to be the centres of great events in the future. Some of these centres have already been
utilized, but some have not, and all these latter are to be employed in the immediate future in connection with the work of
the coming Christ; so that much of the detail of His work was already definitely planned nearly two thousand years ago, and
arrangements even on the physical plane were being made to prepare for it. CW. Leadbeater. Masters And The Path.
During his journeys Apollonius of Tyana would sometimes
say to his disciples, "Let us tarry here. This place is pleasing to me." From these words his pupils knew that a magnet was
concealed there or that the Teacher intended to bury a magnet there. The sensing of magnets is accomplished by means of a
particular current connected with the power of Agni. FW1 342.
Not always have the Great Souls, who had to fulfil
certain missions, entered the Community of the Brotherhood during their earthly life. For instance, Apollonius of Tyana was
called to visit the Brotherhood, but He, in his incarnation as Origen, accepted the most difficult task of guarding the purity
of the Teaching of Christ, and for this He suffered imprisonment instead of dwelling in the Abode of the Brotherhood and participating
in the joyous work there. Letters Helena Roerich Vol1. Agni Yoga.
The second Council of Constantinople (AD 553) condemned
Origen for his belief in Rebirth and Karma. (LHR I, p 224.)
Origen - (c.185-254c.) An early Christian Father who
accepted the task of guarding the purity of the Teachings of Christ. Agni Yoga Glossary.

Christian theologian. He was head of the Catechetical
School of Alexandria (203-231). His doctrines were condemned by the Council of Constantinople in 553. (WD) Webster's Dictionary.

Origen said "With the eyes of the heart we behold Be-ness."
Only through the heart can we discern the beauty of the world manifested by the Heart of Cosmos. Infinity I. Master Morya.
Origen walked upon the still-hot coals of the Ancient
World. Knowing the Covenants of Jesus, he suffered on seeing the ignorance of the crowd. Knowing the sacraments of Ancient
Mysteries, he suffered on seeing the non-comprehension of the oneness of the Source. Knowing the simplicity of the Teaching
of Jesus, he suffered on seeing the erection of churches. LHRI. Agni Yoga.
Therefore, if one is not strong enough to overcome
fear and doubt, it is better not to test oneself; if someone follows dogmatic Christianity, let him extract the very best
from it. Precisely, the New Epoch will shine with a new realization of the Teaching of Christ. Enlightened spiritual teachers
(and there are such already) will return to the true covenants of Christ, to the covenants of the first Fathers of the Church,
and to the works of the great beacon light of Christianity, Origen, who laid the foundation for the whole philosophy of Christianity.

The stable in which Jesus was born was in all likelihood
a cave, for many stables were, in those days, hollowed out of the ground. This was recognized by the early Church, and we
are told that "it is well known that whereas in the Gospels Jesus is said to have been born in an inn stable, early Christian
writers, as Justin Martyr and Origen, explicitly say He was born in a cave." -Pagan Christ, by J. M. Robertson, p. 338. Beth.

And Origen, in his Sixth Epistle to the Romans, says:
"There is a threefold partition of man, the body or flesh, the lowest part of our nature, on which the old serpent by original
sin inscribed the law of sin, and by which we are tempted to vile things, and as oft as we are overcome by temptations are
joined fast to the Devil; the spirit, in or by which we express the likeness of the divine nature in which the very Best Creator,
from the archetype of his own mind, engraved with his finger (that is, his spirit), the eternal law of honesty; by this we
are joined (conglutinated) to God and made one with God. In the third, the soul mediates between these, which, as in a factious
republic, cannot but join with one party or the other, is solicited this way and that and is at liberty to choose the side
to which it will adhere. If, renouncing the flesh, it betakes itself to the party of the spirit it will itself become spiritual,
but if it cast itself down to the cupidities of the flesh it will degenerate itself into body." Isis. HPB.
Origen. A Christian Churchman, born at the end of the
second century, probably in Africa, of whom little, if anything, is known, since his biographical fragments have passed to
posterity on the authority of Eusebius, the most unmitigated falsifier that has ever existed in any age. The latter is credited
with having collected upwards of one hundred letters of Origen (or Origenes Adamantius), which are now said to have been lost.
To Theosophists, the most interesting of all the works of Origen is his "Doctrine of the Pre-existence of Souls." He was a
pupil of Ammonius Saccas, and for a long time attended the lectures of this great teacher of philosophy. Key To Theosophy.

JC: He came back to serve humanity and take the Fifth
Initiation. The Fifth Initiation is one of two parts it seems. Even so There is opportunity to take the sixth and seventh
and still return to earth if that is the service so chosen.
"When the Master Jesus took the Crucifixion Initiation,
another crisis arose of equally great import, if not greater. The crisis was brought about because simultaneously with the
crucifixion of the Master, the Head of the Hierarchy, the Christ, took two initiations in one: the Resurrection Initiation
and that of the Ascension. These are the fifth and sixth initiations, according to the Christian terminology. RI. DK. 386.
"As Appollonius of Tyana, he [Jesus] took the [57]
fifth initiation and became a Master of the Wisdom. IHS 57.
"It is not possible for me here to indicate the nature
of the revelation which is accorded to the initiate of the fifth initiation. It is too closely related to Shamballa, and I
have not myself done more this life than take the fifth initiation and climb the Mount of Ascension. The revelation for me
is not completed and - in any case - my lips are sealed. RI. 707. DK.
.."set before the Master when the sixth initiation
(the true ascension) is
consummated. RI. 361. DK.
JC: Interestingly we are told that Appollonius, was
sent out by the Brotherhood to found or re consecrate magnetic spots for future occult use. This seems to be mentioned by
Master DK and Master Morya.
Magnets - About the laying of magnets. The magnet forges
the projection of the evolution of the planet. The magnet manifests immutability. The magnet affirms the path of humanity.
There are several aspects to the magnet: either the unsplit body of the leading planet; or a part of that body, connected
with other parts; or an extraneous object which has acquired a link with the magnet through contact. The magnet either remains
invisible, attracting the flow of events; or it serves a center of conscious activity; or it enlightens the man who found
it. One can trace in the history of humanity a network of magnets, which have flashed forth like guiding fires. How then does
a magnet work? It transmutes into action the ideas of space. Many magnets are lying under the foundation of cities. Many have
been discovered. (LMG II, pp 166-167) Master Morya.
342. During his journeys Apollonius of Tyana would
sometimes say to his disciples, "Let us tarry here. This place is pleasing to me." From these words his pupils knew that a

The process of discovering the magnetic areas, magnetized
in past centuries, and even aeons, by Members of the Hierarchy. This is done so as to make available the transmission of energies
there stored. In the cycle which is now close at hand, these magnetic centers will be largely tapped or utilized by the world
disciples responsible for the purificatory work. EXT. 692.
In the course of time science may investigate these
magnetic waves, for they are not exhausted for centuries. Magnets have been set like milestones in places of special significance.
When a ploughman carries with him a bit of his native soil, he recalls, as it were, the ancient custom of bringing a handful
of earth as an irrefutable token. And now you also know how some commemorative soil was brought. Its destiny is not simple;
an evil one wished to scatter it, but a benign hand intentionally concealed the treasure and it remained forgotten. Still,
the thought attached to this offering exists and is more effective than one might think-thus thought lives on.
An object magnetized by thought, verily, has power.
Thus, without superstition, but quite scientifically, one should study the stratifications of thought-they are the work of
Fire. FWI. Master Morya.
The transmissions of forces magnetized by the Lords,
and by the Adept, so far exceed human receptivity that the onrush upsets the balance, and the power of these transmissions
is broken up into sparks which remain in humanity's hands. 212. InfinityI. Master Morya.
Urusvati knows that objects can be magnetized. You
were able to observe that psychic energy can magnetize water, and that waters containing iron or lithium are very easily magnetized.
One can also observe how water is gradually demagnetized in proportion to the decrease of psychic energy. This can be done
with all objects, and it is not magic, but a scientific process. The important point is that the influence of the magnetizer
himself be preserved.
The magnetism of objects can actually persist for centuries
if the person who projected it does not withdraw his influence. Thus, the magnetic power lies not in the object itself, but
in the individual. It must also be kept in mind that demagnetization can be effected by a special process. There were cases
when magnetized objects fell into the hands of evil people who were then able to use the beneficent energy for evil purposes.
In such cases it becomes necessary to cut off the magnetic currents that permeate the objects. The energy should be maintained
only where there is a benevolent purpose. This law is of paramount importance. SMDII. 334. Master Morya.
In the past many people were burned and tortured because
their use of talismans was misinterpreted, but today science understands the magnetization of objects. People often ask which
method of magnetization is the best. There are various techniques-one person may pass his hands over an object, another may
put it near his head at night, and another may wear it close to his heart, or merely touch or look at it. There can also be
magnetization at a distance, but one must know the object well in order to visualize it clearly.
Such methods of magnetization require that the object
should not be moved or touched with the naked hand; an insulating material will be useful in this. These are not forms of
sorcery, but the simplest scientific preventive measures. People do not often have sufficient patience for magnetization experiments,
but the successful transmittance of energy to an object is its own proof. Such experiments help one to understand the precious
gift of mastering psychic energy. SMDIII. 370. Master Morya.
"The sun is a great magnet." (S.D. Vol. I, 541) HPB.
This book, if rightly distributed, can act as a great
magnet, drawing people from all over the planet into the Ashrams of the Masters, and thereby increasing the potency of the
workers for humanity as well as increasing them numerically. DINAII. DK.
"I am giving you a special exercise. Go into your garden
twice a week and meet me there. Discover first of all the point within the garden which I have magnetized. At that spot within
your garden, talk your problems aloud to me, pausing at intervals and listening for my replies or the replies of your soul.
DINAI. 525.
Many of the places on the earth's surface, for instance,
which are famed for their healing properties, are thus noted because they are magnetized spots, and their magnetic properties
demonstrate as healing influences. The recognition of these properties by man is but the preamble of a later and more definite
recognition, which will eventuate when his etheric sight is normally developed. These magnetic spots are magnetized in three
ways:
By Sanat Kumara working through the Manu. This occurs
when it is desirable to form a central magnetic point which, by its attractive power, will draw into a coherent whole some
race, nation, or large organization. Every nation has its "magnetic point," formed in etheric matter by the application of
the "Flaming Diamond" to the ethers; it is the national heart and the basis of the national character. Usually the chief city
of a nation is built up around it, but this is not invariably so.
By Sanat Kumara working through the Bodhisattva. In
this case, the electric force in the Rod is wielded in order to draw closer together those influences which demonstrate in
the great religions of the world. The lesser Rod of Power is used here in conjunction with the greater. By their means the
attractive quality or keynote of any religion is struck, and of any organization with a religious basis.
By Sanat Kumara working through the Mahachohan. By
the wielding of the Rod of Power the magnetic focal points of those great organizations which affect the civilization and
the culture of a people are brought into coherent activity. IHS 131.
